Phosphoric Acid (PA) , or thophosphoric acid, monophosphoric acid or phosphoric(V) acid, is a colorless, odorless phosphorus-containing solid, and inorganic compound with the chemical formula H3PO4. It is commonly encountered as an 85% aqueous solution, which is a colourless, odourless, and non-volatile syrupy liquid. It is a major industrial chemical, being a component of many fertilizers.
Industrial uses: phosphoric acid can be used as a component of bacterial toxins and polyphosphoric acid, and can also be developed and manufactured zinc phosphate, sodium hydrogen phosphate, ammonium phosphate and other monomers, suitable for metal corrosion protection, cutting fluid, cleaning agents and other production.
Food industry uses: Phosphoric acid is also an acidic additive, can be used as an important source of vitamins and minerals, added to the beverage, can make the beverage more fresh and delicious, has a certain preservation effect. Phosphoric acid is also often added to food to be used as an antioxidant, enhance food taste, adjust PH value, etc., especially calcium phosphate and magnesium phosphate, which can be used as components of infant food and health products.
